Jay Matlin
With over 14 years of experience in the mortgage industry, I have always been passionate about helping my clients achieve their financial goals. Understanding that purchasing or refinancing a home is one of the most significant financial decisions one can make, I take pride in assisting my clients to navigate the process with confidence. I believe that clear communication, attention to detail, and understanding each client's unique needs are the keys to success in this industry.

Jay has spent his entire career in the mortgage industry, starting as a processor and then becoming a loan officer in 2013. He has guided countless clients from a wide range of backgrounds through their real estate journey. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer or an experienced investor, Jay will take the time to understand each individual client and tailor his approach to ensure a smooth transaction.

Jay is also active in real estate. He has experience with long-term rentals, short-term rentals, and house hacking. He would love to share his expertise on how you can grow your real estate portfolio.

A Boulder native now living in Denver, Jay graduated from the University of Colorado. He believes that a balanced life is the key to happiness and loves taking advantage of everything Colorado has to offer. An avid Colorado sports fan, he also enjoys anything outdoors and active, including snowboarding, golf, and hiking. He also enjoys traveling the world and spending time with his wife and dog.

Plus, he has the ability to shop rates and found lower options than Chase, US Bank and a few others I considered going through . He also reached out when rates dropped significantly within a year or two, which I was unaware of, and helped me get my loan down by about 2%. I wouldn’t have even thought about refinancing on my own but that’s saved me thousands and thousands over the years. Couldn’t recommend him or his expertise more, just a great process.
